area. Kukljica holds the celebration of Our Lady of Snow with about a hundred ships that participate in the procession. Other villages also have their celebrations. The largest village on the island is Ugljan, located 11km from Preko. The reef by the harbor is the location of the 15th century Franciscan Monastery, and one of the favorite swimming locations Mostir. Close to Ugljan, in Muline Bay on the west side of the island, one can see the remains of the 1st century oil processing building. Idyllic island coves are great for diving, inland is great for trekking and mountain biking.
